My Story

IT Trainer | Helping people with technology since 1979

If technology has ever left you confused or frustrated, you are not alone. I help women who run their own businesses, clubs and charities, or who simply want to manage their own devices, turn technology into something simple, useful and manageable.

I am Jenni Kravitz, and I have worked in IT since 1979.

In July 1994, Microsoft assessed me as a trainer at their UK headquarters in Wokingham. The assessment covered objective setting, session structure, use of training aids, my manner and clarity, group management and an overall impression. I passed, and the assessor's report still describes exactly how I work today.

"Clear objectives had been identified. The session had a clear structure. Methods used: demonstration, explanation, step by step instructions, opportunities for questions. Explanations had been well thought out for trainees with relevant examples. The trainer has a pleasant manner and answered all questions readily."

I have built three businesses by learning exactly what I needed, when I needed it. My teacher was not a textbook but the everyday experience of having to make it all work on my own.

My journey began in 1979, when I launched one of the early word processing bureau services. It grew into a PC software training agency. I did not come from a technical background, but I saw a need and committed myself to mastering the skills to meet it.

One of the most meaningful parts of that journey was working with my father, who joined the business at 64. He taught himself spreadsheets, word processing and publishing from scratch. His determination shaped my belief that it is never too late to learn technology.

In 2006, inspired by Strictly Come Dancing, I finally pursued my ambition to learn Ballroom and Latin dance. I faced a common problem: I had no partner. So I created a solution, a business that provides skilled dance partners for every client. That idea became Dance With A Partner, which still runs today and has helped many people learn to dance with confidence.

Today I teach the everyday technology skills that make life and business easier: phones and tablets, email, Word and Excel, Canva, WhatsApp and Zoom, websites and online payments, and AI assistants such as Claude.

My approach is simple and practical. I focus on what you actually want to achieve and explain things clearly, step by step. No jargon. No pressure. Just real skills you can use straight away.

Why I Do This

Over the years, I have seen how many capable people feel held back by technology. They own powerful phones, computers and programs, but use only a small fraction of what they can do. That leads to frustration, wasted time, and too much waiting for someone else to sort things out.

I believe technology should make life easier, not more complicated. That is why I offer one-to-one sessions, group workshops and video courses, so you can learn in the way that suits you and build confidence at your own pace.

What You Can Expect

  • Clear, step-by-step guidance

  • Practical skills you can use immediately

  • A calm, encouraging way to learn

  • Patience with every question, however small

Whether you are just starting out or want to get more from the technology you already own, I am here to help you feel confident and in control.
